I have been using Blatchford's for over 15 years to care for my Tibetan and Nepali rugs. They do an excellent job of cleaning them. The staff there has excellent knowledge of how rugs are made and where they were made (just by looking at them). I highly recommend Blatchford's for the care of all your exquisite rugs.

This is the place to take hand made rugs for care, cleaning, and repair. Plus, they will help you learn about rug quality and care.

I didn't know how much I needed a service like Blatchfords until we needed it. Lisa "a rug nerd" is exactly who you want & need to help you save (for us it was a pet accident), clean or restore your rug. She's given us the confidence that our rugs can be saved if our dogs try to destroy them and has offered to help us make future purchase decisions to ensure they are fit for purpose. The service is 10/10, responsiveness is 10/10 and their overall joy for what they do is 10/10. Give them a call!

We have several old Persian rugs and a few Pakistani rugs that my husband brought back many years ago form his military days. We live on them and have always trusted Blatchfords to take the very best care of them. The last time we took one in for cleaning they found moth damage which we would never have known about without their careful observation. We so appreciate their level of care and expertise.

Five stars but would love to add more. This is the one of my favorite business in San Diego and I cannot say enough positive things about them Through the years they have cleaned and restored several family rugs for me and several smaller weavings. It’s always an education to talk with the knowledgeable owners and staff. What I learn from them has enhanced my appreciation for the treasured objects I’ve inherited. Knowing how to care for them so I can pass them on is priceless. It is so wonderful and heart restoring to see their beauty brought out. Thank you!

I am simply posting to say that the company’s website was posted on the App Next Door, as a rug cleaning referral. I was curious to see their website, and I was extremely impressed with all of the “free”information. I will certainly take my rugs to them when they need cleaning.
